Hi everybody, today I got a note from a friend in Germany, He read my Blog, seen what I was doing and pointed out that what I am is a " Wanderjahre"! whats that? I looked it up...
"The journeyman years (Wanderjahre) refer to the tradition of setting out on travel for several years after completing apprenticeship as a craftsman. The tradition dates back to medieval times and is still alive in German-speaking countries and in France Compagnons du Tour de France. In the British Isles the tradition is lost and only the title journeyman itself remains as a reminder of the custom of young men travelling throughout the country.[1]"
So with that being said, I am following a long tradition.
unfortunately, I have received a call from my doctor and he wants me in his office or I don't get a refill on meds.! and here we go... back to Springfield... again! However I am NOT done traveling!
this thing is not over by a long shot!
while I'm waiting for test results I will build something and do a video.
I'll keep you posted...
Ron
